The Supreme Court of Kenya has ordered the recount of ballot boxes for 15 polling stations in the next 48 hours.
The exercise which is set to start on Tuesday 30th August at 2 pm will be done at an undisclosed location unknown by the media. Present during the recount will be Azimio Presidential candidate Hon. Raila Odinga.
The court will look into a number of things in the petitions filed including any possible breach of the IEBC servers and the password policy that will be provided by the commission to determine those allowed to access the servers.

- Sonko congratulates ODM gubernatorial candidate Abdulswamad Nassir
This follows allegations that several people were granted the rights to access the servers, delete and upload Form 34A’s of their own making which are different from those at the polling station.
IEBC chairman Wafula Chebukati is accused by four of his commissioners of blocking the final process of the elections before the president-elect is declared.
The four commissioners are on the other hand accused by Chebukati of attempting to interfere with the will of the people demanding Chebukati to force a re-run in favour of Azimio presidential candidate Hon. Raila Odinga.
