Supreme Court to deliver verdict on Presidential petition at noon

The Supreme Court of Kenya is set to deliver the verdict on the Presidential petition at 12 noon as confirmed by the registrar Hon. Letizia Wachira.

It is a tense moment for Kenyans especially those from the Azimio and Kenya Kwanza factions pushing for the best news in regard to their candidate.

Azimio la Umoja led by former Prime Minister Hon. Raila Odinga challenged the just concluded election results citing irregularities by IEBC to favor his political rival and Deputy President William Ruto.

Through his lawyers, Raila cited discrepancies between the declared results, turnout, and actual figures on the scanned Form 34A’s made available by the Commission in the public portal.

Also revealed before the court were questions as to at what instance the scanned forms converted from PDF to JPEG format. The name of Jose Cormago was also mentioned at the court as to why it was appearing in the scanned copies of Form 34A.
