Suspect in Monica’s murder released

Recce squad officer Jennings Orlando who was a suspect in the Monica murder has been freed on Friday.

Jennings has been released after the Chief prosecution officer Maxwell Otieno dropped the application to detain him further.

Appearing before Senior Principal Magistrate Stella Atambo, Jennings was ordered to appear before the Directorate of Criminal investigations every Thursday for the next two months.

The suspect was arrested in October after he was found to be with the key suspect in the Monica’s murder Joseph Irungu alias Jowie.

The two are said to be the closest of friends.

On 30th of October Citizen TV reporter Jacque Maribe was released on bail following her bail application.

Royal Media service through their Managing Director Mr. Wachira Waruru they supported the bail application saying that they believe she will adhere to the bail conditions.

They termed Jacque Maribe as a hardworking employee who rose to become a senior anchor in the media house.

Mr. Waruru also said that the mother of one is and will continue to be their employee and at the moment she on leave.
