President Samia Suluhu of Tanzania has arrived in Kenya ahead of his two-day State visit to the country.
The fifth President of Tanzania who arrived on board Air Tanzania was welcomed by Defense CS Rachel Omamo together with other government officials before taking her to the VIP section at JKIA.
She is now expected to head to State House where she will meet President Uhuru Kenyatta and welcomed by a gun salute, a ceremony to usher a very important person in the country.

This is the first time she is in Kenya and the second time outside Tanzania after she was sworn in and took over from her predecessor the late Dr. John Pombe Magufuli. Her first visit was in Uganda where they signed the crude oil agreement with President Yoweri Museveni.
During her two-day State visit, talks revolving around the two country’s economies are expected to take center stage especially the border row between Kenya and Tanzania.
