Tanzanian tycoon Reginald Mengi dies in Dubai

Tanzanian tycoon Reginald Mengi has passed away in Dubai at the age of 75 years.

Reginald Mengi was a business mogul, author, and philanthropist who owned two media outlets namely ITV and Radio One.

Born in 1944, the Tanzanian tycoon was the chairman of the Media Owners Association of Tanzania and the chairman of the Confederation of Tanzania Industries.

The late Mengi was the owner of ITV, East Africa TV, Radio One, East Africa Radio, Capital TV and Capital One.

Other than that, he was the owner of Guardian Limited, a publishing company that published Nipashe and Alaska magazines.
