Two more bodies have been retrieved in the collapsed Tassia building tragedy in Embakasi bringing the number of those reported dead to seven.
The two bodies are reported to have been retrieved on Saturday night as rescue operations still continue.
A multi-agency operation led by the National Disaster Management Unit, Kenya Defense Force and the Kenya Red Cross also rescued two more people bringing the numbers of survivors to 35.
The Tassia building tragedy rescue mission has been hampered by the heavy rains experienced across the country slowing down the exercise.
Latest figures suggest that about 11 more people are yet to be accounted for as a careful approach is used not to cause fatalities.
Leaders have also dispatched their personal rescue teams to team up with agencies to provide a helping hand.
