Tekashi 6ix9ine signs a record deal worth $10m in prison

American singer Tekashi 6ix9ine has just signed a 10-million-dollar record deal from prison where he is currently at.

The deal is said to consist of production of two albums which will be in two languages namely English and Spanish.

It is however not clear whether the deal involves previously produced songs or new songs set to be produced by the artist.

Tekashi 6ix9ine is behind bars for the various offenses including the use of offensive word to receive money, illegal use of firearm and association to a gang.

The rapper had already signed a plea deal with authorities in exchange of exposing gang members wanted by the police.

Three of them have already been arrested and charged with various counts including drug peddling and assault.

As the court prepares to deliberate on his case in December, Tekashi may have his prison term be reduced by half following the plea deal.

Animosity has already began as the rappers girlfriend once reported to have been attacked as a way to send a message.
