In a message to the citizens, Prime Minister Boris Johnson termed it as a new hope for the people, a day that was thought will never come.

He admitted that some never saw it coming but as a leader, his function will be to unite the people and move the country forward.

“Tonight we have left the EU – an extraordinary turning point in the life of this country.

Let us come together now to make the most of all the opportunities Brexit will bring – and let’s unleash the potential of the whole UK.”

The U.K joined E.U 47 years ago with the main purpose of stabilizing the country following the world war two.

Brexit has been predicted that it will weaken the E.U whose main purpose was to bring together the superpower countries.

Several leaders including France President Emmanuel Macron was quoted terming the exit of Britain as a turning point for Europe.

U.S President Donald Trump has been the biggest supporter of Brexit and even had hope that Boris Johnson will deliver as Prime Minister.
