Thomas Partey returns to London after Arsenal-Ghana talks

Arsenal midfielder Thomas Partey has returned to London following talks between Arsenal and Ghana over injury concerns surrounding the talented midfielder.

Partey who missed Ghana’s clash with Brazil following a knock was set to miss Tuesday’s clash with Nicaragua thus the reason to return back to London.

“After further talks between Arsenal & Ghana today it’s been decided Thomas Partey will return to London, rather than stay with the national team for the rest of the break. Arsenal felt that was the better option, given he wasn’t go to play against Nicaragua on Tuesday anyway.” Said Charles Watts

Arsenal who are set to face Tottenham on Saturday 1st October will be in need of Thomas Partey given the importance of the clash for both clubs who sit in position one and three respectively separated by a point.

Also set to make it back from injury is former Manchester City defender Oleksandr Zinchenko and Martin Ødegaard who have been nursing calf injuries for a week now.
