Former Chelsea coach Thomas Tuchel has reached full agreement with Bayern Munich and will become the new head coach.
This is after the German accepted the job as contracts and the necessary documents are being prepared before he can sign them.
“Thomas Tuchel becomes new FC Bayern head coach, full agreement in place. He has already accepted the job. Contract agreed, documents are being prepared tonight.” said Fabrizio Romano.

The news comes at a time when the current head coach Julian Nagelsmann was set to be fired with immediate effect.
“Julian Nagelsmann is set to be sacked with an immediate effect as FC Bayern coach. News revealed earlier tonight now being confirmed by club sources too.” said Fabrizio Romano
Bayern Munich is currently in second position with 52 points, a point behind Borussia Dortmund after losing three matches and recording seven draws in the current Bundesliga campaign.
As things stand, Bayern Munich has already scheduled a meeting to announce the departure of Julian Nagelsmann whose contract was to expire in June 2026.
