Kibera Law courts has released three fake KRA employees on Ksh 100,000 cash bail for allegedly extorting a company director.
Erick Otieno, Joel Omino and John Odhiambo are reported to have demanded a Ksh 500,000 as bribe from Francis Kiriiro a director of Patiala Distillers.
According to Nation, the three met the director at Total Petrol station located at Airport View in nairobi threatening to expose him for evading tax.

The August 28th incident saw the three impostors assure the director that they will make the case against him go away if he parts with the money.
Erick Otieno posed as an employee from a NGO dubbed Kenya Tax Justice and together with the two others sent Francis a letter purporting to expose it if he fails to settle.
On learning of the information, Francis reported the matter to DCI who serialized the money to be handed to the them.
Upon completing the transfer and confirmed, the detectives pounced on them at a restaurant before taking them in.
Joel Omino was found in possession of a fake KRA job card whic was taken in as evidence.
