Three terror suspects in Lamu County have on Monday died after an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) exploded at Kiunga police border patrol unit.
Two officers are reported to have been injured as they engaged the terrorist when they launched an attack.
Somali terror group Shabaab Mujahideen has been linked tothe attack as they have made several attempts to cross the border.
On Sunday the same group is said to have been responsible for an attack in Mogadishu where a top government official is said to have died.

Over 20 military operators from Ethiopia attached to AMISON are reported to have died following their series of attacks in Somali.
Even though the group is heavily armed, the group is disadvantaged due to lack of food supplies during their operations.
