Tob Cohen’s wife allowed to attend husband’s postmortem

Tob Cohen’s Wife Sarah Wairimu has been allowed by a Nairobi court to be present during the postmortem of her late husband.

The revelation was made by her lawyer Philip Murgor who said only Tob Cohen’s wife can correctly identify her husband.

The postmortem scheduled to take place on Wednesday who pushed from Tuesday following the inclusion of pathologist Peter Ndegwa.

According to the pathologist himself, he has been blocked from taking part as he was part of the team on the scene when the body of the Dutch tycoon was discovered.

He further revealed that he had picked an item crucial in the investigation leading to the death of Tob Cohen.

In his place will be government pathologist Johansen Oduor who will be tasked to reveal the possible cause of the Dutch national’s death.

Tob Cohen’s body was found at his Kitusuru’s home 40 days after he was reported missing.

His body was described to have undergone a gruesome murder even though DCI boss George Kinoti did not indulge into details.

Questions, however, rose as to how the police were able to know the whereabouts of his body as they are accused of possibly taking part in the death.

A close friend to the late tycoon revealed to have been confined by the victim that in case of any issues then his wife was the main suspect.

Sarah Wairimu is expected to remain detained for ten more days as a mental assessment is expected to be conducted before he takes a plea.
