Journalist and poet Tony Mochama has been rewarded Ksh 9 million in damages following successful sexual harassment suit he made.
Tony Mochama filed the defamation suit in 2014 following an accusation by one Shalja Patel and Prof. Wambui Mwangi .
The alleged sexual harassment is said to have happened in 2014 when the journalist had visited Prof. Wambui’s house to discuss matters poetry.

In addition to Ksh 9 million in damages, both Shalja and Patel have been ordered by the court to issue a written apology to Tony in the next 14 days.
