According to the Senator, the world champion should avoid unnecessary legal battles and instead should have dealt with the matter on the phone.

Dissatisfied with the idea, the two top lawyers that are Murkomen and Donald Kipkorir differed as to how best the matter should have been handled.

Donald Kipkorir representing Eliud Kipchoge advised Kipchumba Murkomen to operate in his own lane and act for NRG radio instead.

“My Senator, let’s have professional respect. If my client thought you are a better lawyer than me, he would have come to you. Let’s operate on our different lanes! Kindly, act for NGR Radio and we see the outcome “

Calming the matter, Murkomen held to the idea that matter had a better way to be handled unlike putting it out in the open.

Kenyans on Twitter joined the conversation with most of them supporting the Elgeyo Senator terming his thoughts the best way to go.

The whole issue came into light on Friday when lawyer Donald Kipkorir posted the alleged threat to the radio station over the use of Eliud Kipchoge’s image and brand.

He issued them with a two-hour notice to reply to the letter or else risk a legal battle.
