Maranda High School from Western part of Kenya becomes the third school to be closed this week after Kisumu Girls and Ngi’ya Girls.
The top national school has been closed due to unrest from pupils for what they term as strick rules from the school administration.
The students are complaining of strict rules imposed to them including the time for morning preps.
The school closure was made so as to prevent any chaos that may arise.
Kisumu Girls was closed after the students accused the a management for strict rules.school property was destroyed during the protest on Sunday morning.
Ngi’ya Girls in Siaya was closed indefinitely after students protested the removal of one of their teachers.
Another school also closed this is Chabli boys from Marsabit.The students attacked six non-local teachers forcing the school closure.
