Tottenham Hotspurs has confirmed one case of coronavirus following tests conducted on both players at staff members at their training ground.
The English Premier League club did not reveal the details of the patient saying it is as per medical confidentiality.
We have been informed by the Premier League that we have received one positive test for COVID-19 following the latest round of testing at our Training Centre”
Tottenham also revealed that the patient was asymptomatic and will undergo a mandatory seven day isolation before he is tested again as per the medical guidelines issued by Premier League.

They promised to continue to adhere to the laid down protocols even as they return to training and ensure the environment is virus free.
The news brings the total number of cases confirmed to 13 with the number of samples tested rising to 5,079.
At the moment Premier League ordered all clubs to undergo mandatory testing after every two weeks leading to the return of the league on 17th June.
