What Sarah Sanders exit means

Media houses have termed her exit as the death of the daily press briefing at the White House.

She is well known for shortening on-camera briefings before she did away with them altogether

It is however not clear who will take over her off-camera duties which include issuing statements and answering to reports in an informal setting.
