Trump calls for the release of rapper ASAP Rocky in Sweden

President Donald Trump has on Friday demanded the immediate release of rapper ASAP who is being detained in Sweden.

President Trump took on social media to remind Sweden of how much the United States of America is doing for them but it does not seem to work the other way around.

He proceeds to express his disappointment with the Sweden prime Minister for being unable to act.

“Give A$AP Rocky his FREEDOM. We do so much for Sweden but it doesn’t seem to work the other way around. Sweden should focus on its real crime problem! #FreeRocky.

Very disappointed in Prime Minister Stefan Löfven for being unable to act. Sweden has let our African American Community down in the United States. I watched the tapes of A$AP Rocky, and he was being followed and harassed by troublemakers. Treat Americans fairly! ” Said, President Trump

Having watched the tapes during the fate full day leading to ASAP Rocky’s arrest, Trump says he was harassed by troublemakers.

On Thursday Rocky was charged in a Swedish court for causing harm during a brawl on June 30th.

ASAP Rocky whose real name is Rakem Mayers will now have to wait until his trial begins on Tuesday with the fine to be charged dependent on his daily earnings or serve a maximum of two years in prison.

Last week rapper Kanye West reached out to President Trump to intervene in ASAP Rocky’s incarceration promising to talk to the Sweden Prime Minister.

“Just spoke to @KanyeWest about his friend A$AP Rocky’s incarceration. I will be calling the very talented Prime Minister of Sweden to see what we can do about helping A$AP Rocky. So many people would like to see this quickly resolved!” Said Trump
