Two police officers die following an accident in Kwale County

Two police officers have died in Kwale County while 10 other people were injured along the Likoni-Lunga Lunga road on Monday morning.

The accident which involved a Tuk Tuk and a matatu is said to have been caused by a head-on collision between the two vehicles.

The two police officers who at the time of the accident were on board the Tuk Tuk saw a matatu ram into them killing them on the spot.

Investigations are currently underway with the cause of death yet to be revealed.

The bodies of the two police officers were transferred to Coast General Hospital.
