Detectives from the Directorate of Criminal Investigation (DCI) have arrested two terror suspects in Kapsaret sub-county, Uasin Gishu County.
The two namely Mohamed Ahmed Busher (59) and 68-year-old Nasanga Ibrahim who is a foreigner were arrested following a combined operation comprising of Anti-terrorism Police Station (ATP) and Special Services Unit (SSU).

“Two Terror Suspects have today been arrested by a combined team of detectives drawn from DCI Kenya Anti-Terrorism Police Unit(ATPU) and The Special Services Unit(SSU)
The Sleuths carried the operation within Chepkatet village, in Kapsaret Sub-County, Uasin Gishu County where Mohamed Ahmed Busher aged 59 years and a foreign national by the name Nasanga Ibrahim aged 68 years were arrested.” Said DCI
A number of assorted explosive devices including boosters, and detonating cords were recovered from the operation with the suspects being held in custody pending further investigations.
“Assorted explosives, detonators, detonating cords, safety fuses and boosters were also recovered during the operation. The suspects are in lawful custody as further investigations continue.” Said DCI
