Police have arrested a 37-year-old man on suspicion of killing his younger brother over a piece of land in Uasin Gishu County.
The suspect identified as Alex Kipkogei was smoked out by the police from his hideout at Ray Farm Uasin Gishu County.
“A 37-year-old man who has been on the run since yesterday on suspicion of murdering his brother over a land dispute, has been arrested. The suspect, Alex Kipkogei, was smoked out of his hideout at Ray Farm, Uasin Gishu today afternoon.” Said DCI

According to the police, the suspect together with another brother of his descended on their younger brother before beating him to death. The other brother has also gone missing after the incident.
Currently, the police are processing Alex as they continue their pursuit for the second suspect who has gone into hiding.
“Alex, together with his other sibling who is still at large had descended on their younger brother beating him to death over a piece of land in Chesitek-Keiyo North.
The suspect is being processed for arraignment, as detectives intensify their search for the second suspect identified as John Lotema.” Said DCI
