Yesterday Uchumi Supermarket announced its plan of exploring the piloting of a franchisor-franchisee business model.
The retailer is now calling for investors to bid for the franchise of its Langata hyper branch.
The strategy is set to turn around the retailer financial strength with their turnover as at the end June 2016 was ksh 6.4 billion.
