President Uhuru Kenyatta and ODM leader Raila Odinga have on Sunday inspected development projects by the National government in Kisumu.
The two leaders visited the Kisumu port where the Kenyan military is currently constructing a ship yard as part of expansion and rehabilitation of the facility.
The Head of State then made an aerial view of the under construction Ksh 350 Uhuru Business Complex, an ultra modern market located at Jua Kali area in Kisumu.

Accompanying the two was the Chief of defense Force General Robert Kibochi who was present during the inspection of Ksh 415 million Jomo Kenyatta stadium located at Mambo Leo area of Kisumu.
At Mambo Leo, President Kenyatta expressed his satisfaction with the ongoing construction that is currently at 65 percent complete.
Commissioned back in October last year, the stadium is expected to be completed in April as confirmed by State House following a meeting between the President and teh Contractor.
On his way to Nairobi, the Head of Ste inspected the rehabilitation of the Meter Gauge Railway from Longonot to Kisumu from the air.
He also made a stop over at Naivasha where the Standard Gauge Railway is being linked with the old railway meant to serve to Malaba and open open up activities at the Inland Container Depot (ICD).
