UK and EU agree on Brexit delay to 31st October

The United Kingdom (UK) and the European Union (EU) have jointly agreed to delay the exit up to 31^st October.

The new exit date might see UK leave the EU without a deal come Friday as Members of Parliament (MPs) are still in a deadlock.

According to UK Prime Minister Theresa May, her wishes was a shorter delay with the UK exit being a soon as possible.

Speaking with other leaders, Theresa May is said to have wanted the exit date moved from this Friday to 30^th June with the option of an early withdrawal.

UK will now have until May to hold elections or leave on 1^st June without a deal.
