UK and EU agree on Brexit delay to 31st October

The United Kingdom (UK) and the European Union (EU) have jointly agreed to delay the exit up to 31st October.

The new exit date might see UK leave the EU without a deal come Friday as Members of Parliament (MPs) are still in a deadlock.

According to UK Prime Minister Theresa May, her wishes was a shorter delay with the UK exit being a soon as possible.

Speaking with other leaders, Theresa May is said to have wanted the exit date moved from this Friday to 30th June with the option of an early withdrawal.

UK will now have until May to hold elections or leave on 1st June without a deal.
