UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson out of ICU

The UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson has on Thursday evening been discharged from the intensive care unit (ICU).

He, however, remains in the hospital where doctors are closely monitoring his situation.

Updating the world on his current health status was No. 10 who said he is still remains at St. Thomas Hospital receiving treatment.

The UK Prime Minister was taken to St. Thomas on Sunday after developing persistent coronavirus symptoms.

At the hospital he has been receiving what No. 10 describes as standard oxygen treatment but has been able to breath on his own.

Several world leaders including US President Donald Trump welcomed the good news wishing him to recover soon.

NHS staffs were praised by Health Secretary Matt Hancock who said they have done their best to give Boris Johnson wold class care and treatment.
