Two suspects have been arrested in possession of unaccustomed cigarettes worth Ksh 10 million.
The two suspects namely Moses Murithi Waweru and Josephat Kamau were arrested by detectives in Uasin Gishu with the goods hidden in a Mitsubishi Lorry.
“Two suspects found with Ksh. 10 million worth of uncustomed cigarettes hidden in a compartment of a Mitsubishi Lorry were yesterday morning arraigned in court & charged with appropriate charges.”

Further investigations by detectives revealed that the two suspects lacked the necessary certificates from KRA and stamps from KEBS.
A KRA employee and administration police are on the run after learning that the detectives were pursuing them.
