Self Sponsored programmes at the University of Nairobi have been suspended due to low revenues generated.
Making the announcement on Monday, Prof. Julia Ojiambo noted that the decision follows a joint meeting held on the 19th of November.
She continued by saying that the suspension will not in any way affect the normal operations at the University of Nairobi.

Staff under the programme have been assured they will be deployed to other assignments in line with the school duties.
Accounts will also remain operational and handled by the respective signatories as it was the case.
The same thing applies to the facilities used by the institution as they shall continue to be operated without any interference.
