Victor Kinuthia of Royal Media has landed a BBC interview and Citizen TV job following his tale of courage during the arrest of Kiharu MP Ndindi Nyoro.
Kinuthia who was trending for the better part of yesterday was a result of him presenting a breaking news story on live television for the first time.
Kenyans trolled the Inooro radio presenter over his speaking skills that left many wondering if he is really an employee of Royal Media.
Several presenters from Citizen TV took on social media to encourage Victor Kinuthia promising their full support.
Yvonne Okwara promised Kinuthia will be a different presenter in a few years to come, he will go places and she will walk with him too.
Francis Gachuri threw his support behind Victor saying he stands with him and that it was a valuable learning experience for him.
Following several tweets and shares, BBC London called Victor requesting an interview to understand why he was trending.
“After trending top tweets, BBC World Service radio in London gave me a call asking for an interview from me in regards to why am trending. My story of encouragement will be hitting the airwaves across the world in 2hrs time”
At the same time, Citizen TV has offered him a morning show dubbed Sema na Citizen where he will be presenting every morning.
