Wabuko Tony from Kapsabet Boys Secondary led the 2019 KCSE results with 87.519 marks followed by Barasa Miriam Njeri from Kenya High School.
Aboge David Odhiambo from Kapsabet Boys Secondary came third with 87.080 followed by Anthony Oluoch Ochieng from Maseno High School with 87.00.
Natasha Wawira from Kenya High School closed the top five list with 86.961.
Ladies performed exceptionally well compared to the boys as CS Magoha noted that they performed well in English, Kiswahili, CRE, German and Home Science.
Out of the top ten students, there were seven girls, with two of them coming from Kenya High School.
Kenya High School led with 76 students with A plains followed by Kapsabet Boys with 49, Alliance High School 48 and Moi Kabarak with 30 students with A’s.
1,309 students had their results canceled due to irregularities as the CS confirmed there was no exam leakage as was the case in previous years.
