An inspector from the Directorate of criminal investigations (DCI) has placed the wife to the slain Solomon Mwangi at the scene of the murder.
Testifying before the court, inspector Clement Mwangi said that communication data indicated that Jane Muthoni was in constant touch with the co-accused.
“Inspector Clement Mwangi from DCI testified that communication data indicated that Jane Muthoni was in constant touch with her co-accused.’ Said the DPP
Inspector Mwangi further added that Muthoni’s co-accused Isaac Ng’ang’a and Nelson Njiru were on the scene of the crime when the Solomon Mwangi went missing.
“Mwangi said the data indicated that Muthoni’s co-accused Isaac Ng’ang’a & Nelson Njiru were on the scene of crime on the day the deceased went missing. Mwangi is Prosecution’s 21st & last witness. He will be cross-examined by Defense Counsel from 4.6.19.” Said the DPP
Solomon Mwangi’s death
Speaking at Nakuru court, the witness said that he recovered a gunny bag with Solom Mwangi’s body and that the deceased died of strangulation.
“Witness tells Nakuru court how they recovered a gunny bag with Solomon Mwangi’s body & that he died of strangulation.” Said DPP
