Wikileaks co-founder Julian Assange arrested in London

Wikileaks co-founder Julian Assange has been arrested in London at the Ecuadorian Embassy.

Julian Assange Is said to have taken refuge at the embassy to avoid extradition to Sweden over sexual assault claims which have long been dropped.

Confirming the incident was the Metropolitan Police who said that they have taken him into custody and will soon appear before Westminster Magistrate Court as soon as possible.
