Deputy president William Ruto has taken a jab at ODM for their push for the BBI implementation.

Speaking on social media, DP William Ruto accused ODM of using the BBI and handshake to make their 2022 political alignments.

He further accused them of misappropriating public funds to push for the implementation leading to a referendum.

“We accept that Bbi/handshake has been hijacked to craft Odm’s 2022 political line up. Unity/inclusivity pretence & associated squander of public resources should stop.

Unity?the opposition (NASA) is already dismembered/dead;now dividing Jubilee. Big4 roll out only way to go”

Teh Dp sentiments have been seconded before by Elgeyo Marakwet Senator Kipchumba Murkomen who said they are using county resources.

“Parliament didn’tapprove any expenditure of public resources for Kisii BBI meeting neither is there any justification for use of county resources considering that BBI isn’t a devolved function.

Any National or county government official who uses public resources will be surcharged.”
