Everything was okay at first until when Sossion was welcomed on stage when angry youths heckled him as they questioned his loyalty to ODM who nominated him to the parliament.

Efforts by the Governor to calm the crowd failed as Sossion quickly left the venue and to his car accompanied by his bodyguards.

Sossion joined UDA in October last year and even promised to campaign for the Deputy President and ensure that he clinches the top seat and beat his rival Raila Odinga.

Bomet Senator Christopher Langat questioned the move and switch warning the Deputy President that the former KNUT boss maybe and intruder sent to spy activities at the party ahead of the general elections.

The news comes hours after Senator Mithika Linturi was arrested and transferred to Gigiri police station in Nairobi following his remarks in Edoret.

The vocal Senator apologized for the statement as DPP Noordin Haji called for speedy investigations into the matter pending prosecution.
