Wiper Democratic Movement has on Tuesday held a virtual meeting when they discussed a number of matters including the NASA coalition.

In the meeting chaired by the party’s National Executive Council, the party resolved to move with speed to enter into a coalition agreement with the ruling party Jubilee.

They noted that agreement will shape the party into emerging political realignments ahead of the coming 2022 general election.

According to Wiper, they have taken the step after realizing that the National Super Alliance (NASA) coalition was dysfunctional.

In order to do distance itself from the NASA coalition, the party is calling for Special National Delegates to rectify the NEC resolution.

Fourth on their list was NEC to adopt a report by the Disciplinary Committee to expel Machakos Senator Johnstone Muthama from the party.

In order to do so, the party has resolved to move with speed and strike out the name of Muthama from the party register.
