A woman has come forward to sue the US president Donald Trump for raping her after he denied the allegations.
The New York incident is said to have happened between the years of 1995 and 1996 have also been criticized by the US president.
The woman who has been identified as Jean Carroll accused Trump of smearing a bunch of lies, dragging down her integrity and honesty when she was told she had made the story up.
Carroll who worked for a very long time as an advice columnist of Elle magazine had her story published in a New York magazine followed by a memoir released in July.

The White House through press secretary Stephanie Grisham termed the allegations as a fraud just like the other herself.
Trump through her Twitter account denied meeting Carroll and that she is lying. He continued by saying that she is not her type and the incident never happened.
On why she did not report the issue, Carrol says she feared for the aftermath. She however confirmed the incident took two to three minutes before she run out of the dressing room.
The woman is among a list of many other women who have come forward to accuse the president of sexual misconducts.
