A woman has been arrested by DCI detectives for stealing a 1-month-old baby at a salon in Rodi Kompany, Homabay County.
“A one month old baby, who had been stolen from his mother three weeks ago has been rescued by our officers and reunited with his biological mother. Baby Stanley Decimal was stolen from Benta Achieng, at a Salon in Rodi Kopany in Homabay County.” Said DCI
The suspect identified as Bella Achieng Ogolla is reported to have met Benta Achieng at a hospital before she delivered before committing the crime later on.

Police are still working to unravel as to how she managed to lie to her 42-year-old husband that she was pregnant all along.
“Shockingly, the suspect identified as Bella Achieng Ogolla, had met Benta in hospital days before she delivered, only to steal the baby later. Detectives are still trying to figure out how she managed to convince her 42-year-old husband Bernard Akello, that she was pregnant all along and had finally bore him a son.
The rescue was made possible courtesy of our hawk eyed detectives from the Crime Research & Intelligence Bureau, augmented by their Homabay counterparts and officers from the Child Protection Unit.” Said DCI
