It was business unusual in parliament on Thursday when women MPs stormed out in protest of an assault on their colleague.
The women MPs protest the assault on women representative Fatuma Gedi as they demanded the immediate arrest of Wajir East MP Rashid Amin over the incident.
They also demanded the immediate exit of National Assembly Majority Leader Aden Duale for failing to stand up for women in parliament.

She was taken to Karen Hospital for treatment before she recorded a statement at Parliament police station.
