Murang’a women representative Sabina Chege was on Friday left in tears after she was booed by a section of the crowd during the embrace rally in the county.
Sabina Chege tried to stop the crowd from heckling her but her attempt fell on deaf ears as the crowd kept on.
At one point she was quoted telling the crowd if they were sent by someone as demanded them to stop as she demanded respect.
“I swear if you are here having being sent by somebody,” she told the rowdy audience. “I beseech you as your County mother, do not disrespect me in front of my guests.”
