Zambia Vice-President Inonge Wina tests COVID-19 positive

The Vice-President of Zambia Mrs. Inonge Mutukwa Wina has tested positive for COVID-19 as confirmed by the country’s President.

According to President Edgar Chagwa Lungu, the Vice-President learnt of her results after her daughter who she stays with tested positive for the virus.

“I have wished Her Honour the Republican Vice President Mrs Inonge Mutukwa Wina a quick recovery after she tested positive for Covid_19 following a positive result of her daughter with whom she stays with.” Said, President Edgar Lunga

The news comes at a time when Zambia has so far reported 10,218 cases of the virus and even halted football as a measure to control its spread.
