At lease 20 people are reported to have sustained injuries following a morning fire incident in Makina, Kibera, Nairobi County.
Approximately 40 households have been affected by the fire incident which has so far been contained by the Nairobi City County Fire Brigade.

“Together with Eagle Hospital, we have attended to 20 people injured in a fire incident that occurred earlier this morning in Makina, Kibera.
The fire, which affected approximately 40 households, was contained by the Nairobi City County Fire Brigade with support from community members.” said Kenya Red Cross
