At least 34 houses have been torched and 211 families displaced in Marsabit following resourced based conflict in the affected areas.
Confirming the news was Red Cross Kenya who said that they have provided relief food for 500 households and emergency shelter kits for 31 households.

“Following resource-based conflict in Dukana, North Horr, Marsabit County, 34 houses were torched and 211 families displaced.
Yesterday, the most affected and vulnerable received support, including:
Relief food for 500 households. Emergency shelter kits for 31 households. Water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH) interventions.
We remain on the ground to support affected communities and help them recover with dignity.” said Kenya Red Cross
