A nurse in Bungoma has been arrested after allegedly raping a form three student who had been admitted at the private facility.
The nurse who has been identified as 30-year-old Martin Wekesa was arrested in the act by another nurse who was doing rounds in the facility before admitting to the incident.
The family of the Form Three student is, however, alleging a plot to cover up the incident,, claiming that the student was forced to take a bath afterwards.

Speaking after the incident was Bungoma South Police Commander William Letting, who warned perpatrators of facing the full force of the law if arrested.
