Charlene Ruto has dropped a criminal case against Webster Ochora Elijah afterboth parties reached an agreement.
Ochora is accused of impersonating Charlene by authoring a book under her name before he was arrested and the matter dragged to court.
Court documents reveal that Webster Ochora issued an apology that was accepted by the plaintif before the case was dropped.

“That the accused offered an apology, which the complainant has accepted, leading to the resolution of the matter,” read court dcouments.
Under the new agreement, Elijah is prohibated from authoring a book, either directly or indirectly about the issues that were brought before the court.
“The accused shall not publish, distribute, disseminate, or cause to be published in any form or medium the book or any material containing content referring to or purporting to narrate in the first person the events forming the subject matter of this case,” read the agreement
Webster has also been prohibated by the court from selling the rights of the book to any third party as any breach will lead to a civil suit against him.
The matter which has been marked as withdrawn will be mentioned on 6th October for further direction of the court.
