Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) has been granted by the court access to Juja MP George Koimburi’s medical records.
Through a ruling issued on Friday, DCI has been granted permission to access and audit the medical records of the MP at Karen Hospital where he had been receiving treatment.

The findings of the audit will assist the police in their investigations over allegations that the MP had been abducted and dumped at a coffee plantation.
“To assuage the anxieties surrounding the George Koimburi saga, I hereby issue a warrant to investigate The Karen Hospital-Nairobi patients records domiciled at the Karen Hospital Nairobi Branch and Plainsview Hospital patient records domiciled at Plainsview Hospital Ruiru Branch relating to George Koimburi,” said the court
The news comes at a time when the police have accused the legislator of planning his own abduction and that he was in a hotel before he was allegedly dumped at a coffee plantation.
