Six arrested in Embu and assorted items recovered following June 25th protest
The three activists John Mulingwa Nzau, also known as Garang, Mark Amiani, alias Generali, and Francis Mutunge Mwangi, alias Chebukati were arrested on 27th June on board Randa Coach at Konza City heading to Mombasa.
During the arrest, detectives were able to recover a notebook labelled FORUM CIV which allegedly contained names, logistics and route plans of the protests.
According to the detectives, the trio were fleeing the city after causing havoc and destruction of properties.
They believe holding them for 21 days will help unmask more details into their plans as well as recover crucial evidence from the six mobile phone that they recovered from them following their arrest.
