A search and rescue mission is currently underway after a ferry carrying 45 people sinks near Indonesia’s resort island of Bali.
Revealing the details was the National Search and Rescue Agency who said that the ferry popularly known as KMP Tunu Pratama Jaya had left Ketapang port on Wednesday heading to Gilimanuk port in Bali.

So far a total of 20 people have been rescued and two bodies recovered. Those rescued were found unconscious after attempting to stay afloat for long as revealed by Banyuwangi police chief Rama Samtama Putra.
Authorities have released a total of nine boats which include two tug boats and two inflatable boat to help in the search and rescue mission..
