A form three student has on Tuesday been found dead at Kenya Broadcasting Corporation (KBC) compound in Nyamninia, Yala, Siaya County.
The lifeless body of the 17-year-old girl was found on Tuesday morning by school going children who raised an alarm.

It has since been established that the girl left home at around 5:30am before her body was discovered with her undergarment missing.
The police are now suspecting that she might have been raped before her death.
Confirming the incident was Gem Yala Sub-County Police Commander Charles Wafula who revealed that his men responded to the news and took the body to Yala Sub-County hospital mortuary..
Wafula continued by saying that investigations into the incident is ongoing and a postmortem is set to be conducted to establish the cause of death.
