Former Makueni Governor Kivutha Kibwana has apologized to blogger Maverick Aoko over an X post.
Taking on social media, Kibwana pleaded with Aoko not to involve her aging mother in their differences saying that it might lead to a heart attack.
“I apologize for my comments Aoko which have hurt you! This was first time I engaged you in good faith. Please I beg don’t abuse my mother she is old if I am 71.

The statement follows a statement from the blogger advising him to focus on lecturing or consultant jobs.

Aoko was responding to a question by the former Governor as to why she constantly abuses people when campaigning for her favourite candidates.
“I always wonder Aoko why do you abuse people so heavily when campaigning for your favourite? Your style? I hope my comment does not bring me to your radar, Nyako!” said Governor Kivutha Kibwana
