He continued by accusing them of spreading misinformation that SHA was working after receiving Ksh 50,000 each after the meeting.
According to Gachagua, the musicians are people who calm people’s thoughts especially those affected by the current government only to be informed on matters that don’t work in this country.
The former Deputy President also called on Mt. Kenya residents to unfollow the musicians on their channels.
“Those who went to Ruto to ask for forgiveness, if not, I’ll order no one to listen to their music and no clubs will invite them to perform,” he said
The news comes at a time when the artists visited the Deputy President at his Karen home to find a solution from cartels who are exploitig them.
“The Creative industry is a multibillion shilling business, and constant engagement with performing artists and all those in that space is imperative to find ways of supporting them through policy and protection of intellectual property rights,” said Kindiki
